Will cellular operators be forced to lower tariffs?

The Belarusian government has asked the cellular operators who raised tariffs in January and February to return to the old ones. Prime Minister Syarhei Sidorski has claimed it, informs BelTA.
According to the head of the government, the operators raised tariffs by more than 18% for no particular reason. The Prime Minister noted that the profitability of cellular operators was 40% and more while their services were paid for in Belarusian roubles.

The Ministry of Economy has already sent letters to cellular operators and suggested that they should reconsider their prices and bring back the old tariffs. Otherwise, they will be subjected to the antimonopoly law.
