Football: Hancharenka to get Belarus job?
Belarusian Football Federation is interested in hiring the Belarusian coach who was recently fired from Kuban Krasnodar.
As reported by tut.by, Viktar Hancharenka is among the candidates for the post of Belarus national team head coach.
BFF representatives had discussed the prospects of working with Hancharenka before the news of his resignation from the position in Russian club Kuban apeared. But then Hancharenka refused. According to tut.by, when the team returns from Spain, where on November 15 the team will play a qualifying match of Euro 2016, the leaders of the federation plan to re-discuss the proposal with Viktar Hancharenka.
The coach's salary may play an important role in the talks about possible cooperation. In the Kuban club, Viktar Hancharenka received about one million euros per year. Belarus Football Federation is ready to pay a similar amount, but in this case they will have to curtail their own investment projects.
