Vetka chief accountant steals 9 tons of asphalt
The chief accountant of one of Vetka enterprises (Homel Region) is suspected of having stolen 9 tons of asphalt. BelaPAN informs that the police discovered the fact of power abuse of the chief accountant during a check-up.
The 36-year-old woman went into a huddle with other officials of the enterprise in 2006. She misappropriated nine tons of asphalt and concrete blend costing about 1.5 million roubles. Policemen say that according to documents, the blend was acquired by the enterprise the chief accountant worked for. In reality, it arrived in the yard of the private house she lived in.
The investigation continues.
