Uruguay defeats England, Suárez scores 2 goals (video)
England is on the brink of elimination from the 2014 World Cup after defeat to Uruguay.
Both Uruguay and England lost their first matches and they needed to win to have a chance to make it to the 1/8 final. Luis Suárez became the hero of the match – he returned to the football field for the first time after an injury and scored two goals! He opened the score during the 39th minute and Rooney equalized during the 75th minute. Suárez scored his victory goal 10 minutes later.
Italy, Costa Rica (they have one more match to play) and Uruguay have 3 points in group D now. England has no points.
