Unique icons exhibition opens in Hrodna (photo)
The exhibition of the Holy Mother of God icons, crowned by the Primate of Poland Stefan Wyszyński, opened on August 6 in St. Francis Xavier Cathedral.
Crowning of the Holy Mother of God icon means the icon was considered wonder-working. The Icon of the Congregational Mother of God (Virgin Mary for students) has been in the St. Francis Xavier Cathedral for 399 years by now.
The exhibition will work for a week.
