Ukraine's transport ministry: Third tanker with Venezuelan crude for Belarus doesn't reach Odessa

The third tanker with Venezuelan crude for Belarus did not dock at the Ukrainian Black Sea port of Odessa today, Euroradio was told by Ukraine's Ministry of Transport and Communications. "The third tanker is expected around July 2, We don't know where you got information from that the tanker has already been unloaded in Odessa. We have exact information from the Odessa port that the tanker has not arrived yet", Lizaveta Yarmosh, a spokeswoman for the Ministry of Transport, told Euroradio.

Media in Belarus reported earlier Tuesday that the tanker was already in Odessa.

As of today, Belarus has purchased 160,000 tons of crude oil in Venezuela. The first two tankers arrived in Ukraine on April 24 and June 23. Belarus plans to ship 4 million tons of oil from Venezuela via the port of Odessa by the end of 2010.
