The founders of the TUT.by portal will help their journalists pay fines and damages under the "BelTA case" sentences, the chief editor of the portal Maryna Zolatava wrote in social networks.

“Many people have offered assistance in paying the fine and even called for organizing a crowd funding campaign. Thank you very much for your participation, I was really touched. But this is not necessary. The company will help me as well as other participants of this case pay the fine.

I also wanted to say something about "loans", because I have heard various rumors. Their redemption will not fall on the shoulders of employees, they will also be paid with the help of the TUT.BY founders with the observance of civil and tax laws," Zolatava wrote in her Facebook account.

She offered to those who want to transfer money do it for the project "You can help them" or any of the "Names" projects.

According to Euroradio, Maryna Zolatava was fined 7,650 BYN (300 base units) in the “BelTA case”. Another 6,000 BYN of legal costs are charged for the benefit of BelTA.

Also, various fines were paid by other TUT.by employees convicted of unauthorized access to the paid subscription of the BelTA state news agency.
