Trucks from Kaliningrad still cannot enter Belarus

There are still 29 trucks with electronics and home appliances on their way from Kaliningrad to Russia. This was announced by the Minister for Industrial Policy, Enterprise Development and Trade of the Kaliningrad region, Dmitry Chamakin, kgd.ru reports.

The official said that at the end of last week, the Belarusian customs allowed into the coutry nine trucks of the GS Group holding. But the transit issue remains open. Chamakin said that Belarusian customs did not voice any specific claims to goods and carriers, but the trucks are not moving anywhere.

Problems with the Kaliningrad cargo arose in early December. The Belarusian side believes that Russia legalizes in the Customs Union goods brought from China. Among the detained goods are products of Telebalt and GS Group. The companies say that the Belarusian customs wanted to arrest the goods and sell it in the state's favor.
