State and private drugstores: prices to be equalized
Minister of Health Vasil Zharko has told MPs about it today, on April 10.
He described changes to the law on medicines and ‘the next step’ that would be made by the Ministry of Health. The prices will be equalized in private and state drugstores, he said. Private drugstores will be dissatisfied with it but ‘things are clearly moving towards it’ and ‘the suggestion will soon be made’, the Minister admitted.
The innovation is aimed at supporting state drugstores. Their economic efficiency was only 1.2% in the first quarter of 2014, Vasil Zharko said.
