Schoolboy wounded in Stoubtsy: I wanted to save teacher

ONT has interviewed Uladzislau Tsvirko wounded in the attack at Stoubtsy school #2 on February 11. Tenth-former Vadzim M. armed with a knife killed a teacher and a pupil on that day. Tsvirko is one of the two wounded pupils who tried to stop Vadzim.

"I wanted to save the teacher and my classmates,” the teenager said. “I almost managed to protect them but couldn’t save the teacher.”

Uladzislau Tsvirkso is in hospital. He has been transferred from the intensive care to the surgery department recently. He would have tried to save the teacher and classmates even if he had known that he would be wounded, he said.
