SBU chief: Putin’s assistant gave orders to Maidan snipers
Valentin Nalivaichenko has accused Vladislav Surkov of having coordinated snipers’ work in Maidan.
SBU chief Valentin Nalivaichenko has accused Russian President’s assistant Vladislav Surkov of giving orders to foreign snipers in Maidan Nezalezhnosti in February 2014. He announced it on the TV channel 1+1, Espresso.TV reports.

SBU Alfa members reported it during interrogations, he claimed. “They gave exact information about the whereabouts of groups of foreign snipers who had aimed at protesters and employees of the Ministry of Internal affairs,” he said.
Policemen have evidence of their illegal activities in Ukraine, Valentin Nalivaichenko stressed.
"We have the snipers’ names, positions and copies of passports as well as the dates of their entry and departure. We know what kind of communication they used, what rooms they occupied and we know that Putin’s assistant Surkov gave orders to them in Kiev...” he said.
