Belarus will receive an interstate loan worth of $700 million from Russia, Russian Deputy Finance Minister Sergei Storchak said.

"Now it is technical work. All political decisions were taken. We are finalizing the documents and that is it  - $700 million just liked we agreed and announced earlier,"  TASS reports quoting the Russian official as saying.

Storchak added that the documents on the loan will be signed after a relevant resolution of the Russian government.

The presidents of Belarus and Russia agreed at the meeting in April about re-financing Minsk's debt. It was reported back then that Russia would release up to $800 million to restructure Belarus' debts.

Belarusian First Deputy Finance Minister Maksim Yermalovich said Belarus planned to receive a $700 million loan from Russia in July-August 2017.
