Why Russian media "pitch into" Belarusian opposition?

Party Anatol Lyabedzka received $4million from Georgian
politicians for breaking down the Belarusian regime back in 2005. The Russian
TV-channel RTR has informed this in a documentary. Moreover, today's head of
the Security Council Giga Bakeriya allegedly was one of those
Georgian politicians!
Head of the Analytical Department of Bakeriya's office Lasha Darsaliya
says that this is a fairy-tale.
Lasha Darsaliya: "This is a great absurdity. There's
nothing to comment on! These are fairy-tales, we've heard them many times, and
we never comment on things like that!"
According to him, all allegations that the Georgian politicians allegedly
financed the Belarusian opposition will not affect the Belarusian-Georgian
relations in any way.
Belarusian political scientist Alyaksandr Klaskouski is
convinced that Lyabedzka appeared at the Russian TV accidentally. He became a
victim of Kremlin's struggle against the international "fifth column"
because of his friendship with many Russian opposition politicians.
The said TV-report will not make relations with Georgia more complicated and
will not become the reason for another wave of repressions against the
opposition, Klaskouski thinks.
