Victims of totalitarianism commemorated in Kurapaty (photo)
A memorial service dedicated to the Day of Rememberance of victims of totalitarian and authoritarian regimes was held in Kurapaty stove.
This day is marked in Europe on August 23 - the date of signing the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. The European Parliament announced this date as a memory day in 2009. Thus, victims of both right and left totalitarianism are commemorated on this day in Europe.
