Uladzimir Peftsiyeu lodges four complaints against Council of EU
The Belarusian businessman is disputing the sanctions the European Union imposed on his company.
Let us remind you that the Council of the European Union imposed sanctions on Uladzimir Peftsiyeu’s three companies on June 20. The competent Lithuanian legal firm LAWIN will act for him in his four suits against the Council of the EU, informs “Daily”.
The fact that Peftsiyeu has lodged the complaints is mentioned in the recently published official European Union’s magazine. All of them were lodged on August 12, 2011.
The decision of the Council of the EU to impose sanctions on Uladzimir Peftsiyeu’s companies was taken to strengthen the financial pressure exercised on the Belarusian authorities to make them stop repressions directed against the opposition.
