Supplies of Russian electric power to Belarus resumed

The Russian company "Inter RAO ES" resumed electric power supplies to Belarus. Official representative of the company Anton Nazarau informed this to the Russian media in the evening on July 2.

"Inter RAO ES" stopped supplying electric power to Belarus at midnight on June 29 because of an unpaid debt. The supplies were resumed after another payment at 23.00 Minsk time on June 30, but stopped two hours later due to technical reasons. Russia's President Dmitri Medvedev ordered to resume the supplies personally.
