Sannikau's release to help Belarus return to Eastern Partnership?
Georgia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed such opinion.
It is said in the official statement of this country's MFA that Georgia welcomes the decision of the Belarusian authorities to release an opposition leader Andrei Sannikau and activist Zmitser Bandarenka. The Georgian side expressed hope that this would facilitate resume of the direct dialogue with the European Union and provide for the country's full-capacity participation in the Eastern Partnership initiative, Radio Liberty reports.
