Rare photos of Yaukhim Karski sent to Brest library (photo)

18 rare photos of the famous Belarusian ethnographist, an academician Yaukhim Karski have been sent to the Brest regional library by his great-garandson, who lives in Russia, reports the library's web-site.

A photo of the academician's uncle - a local historian Ivan Karski - with a spouse, taken in Vaukavysk,"was found literally a month ago", Aliaksandr Karski writes.

Aliaksandr Karski has written that there are more rare photos in the family archive. They will be exhibited at the holiday of the Belarusian Writing this September in Hantsavichy.
