Radio Liberty and BelaPAN journalists detained in Minsk
Two journalists are detained in Belarus capital when covering a protest action staged by a civil initiative against judicial injustice in Independence Square
Radio Liberty journalist Aleh Hruzdzilovich was detained when taking pictures of the building of the House of the Government. The guards said taking photographs of a guarded government object was not allowed.
The police took him to Maskouski district police department. They say they will deal with the case, reports Radio Liberty.
BelaPAN cameraman Syarhei Satsyuk was also detained.
Euroradio reminds that Bealrus president Aliaksandr Lukashenka is expected today in the House of the Government to make his annual state of the union address to the parliament and and people of Belarus.
