President of Serbia to Lukashenka: We realized our mistake
The meeting between President of Belarus Alyaksandr Lukashenka and President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolic took place in Minsk on Tuesday.
The Serbian President is
staying in our country with a two-day official visit.
Both Lukashenka and Nikolic have notes that there was a break in the
inter-state relations which did not concern economy though. Now everything
should change. "If we show some political will we will definitely achieve
success... You, and us, and the whole world have much more political problems,
but we should solve these problems together", - Interfax-West quotes Alyaksandr Lukashenka.
The Serbian President thanked Belarus for its position on Kosovo and Metohija.
As for the "break in relations", the Serbian President called it a
temporary occurrence. "We realized our mistake and will do our best to
correct it. We consider Belarus our most important friend", - Nikolic
has said.
