Polish journalist receives prestigious award for report about Belarus
Journalist of Gazeta Stołeczna Grzegorz Szymanik has become a laureate of the PAP Ryszard Kapuściński Award.
He has been noted for his report "Comrades, I am your Führer" made in Alyaksandr Lukashenka's home village. It was published on April 21, 2011, Gazeta Wyborcza reports. The journalist has received 20 thousand zlotys (about 6 thousand dollars).
Gazeta Stołeczna is a supplement to Gazeta Wyborcza.
