Police explain to Euroradio what happened in Kalinkavichy (video)
A video in which policemen are holding a man who is lying in the pool of blood in the presence of witnesses appeared in the vkontakte.ru social network.
According to the information provided by "Charter'97", the underage youngster was delivered to the hospital with neck fracture on May 1 after the contact with the police. He cannot breathe himself and probably needs a surgery.
Euroradio addressed to the police of Kalinkavichy and they refuted this information. The First Deputy Head of the district police Alyaksandr Sivak says that his subordinates tried to stop the fight between the two youngsters. One of them was detained while the other is in search.
Alyaksandr Sivak: "One of them resisted during the arrest. The policemen used physical force. This youngster was detained and delivered to the hospital for providing medical assistance. We delivered him there because he wanted so. There was a fight. The policemen did not beat him. They only used a self-defense technique - bending the arm behind the back"".
According to Sivak, the police are checking the incident. He says that there is no information with regard to severe injuries of the detainee in the police.
