According to his words reported by interfax.by, participation of Russian special forces in actions like this is absolutely impossible. Let us remind you, a series of Russian media claimed that "people in plain clothes" might be connected with Russian special forces.

The Ambassador informed there were no agreements between the two countries, which might allow using Russian special forces for struggling with internal resistance in Belarus.

Surykau mentioned two Russian citizens, detained during the "silent actions" in Minsk and Barysau. They plan to claim the actions of the law-enforcement agencies, as well as the court decisions. The Russian Embassy appealed to the public prosecutor's office of Minsk with respect to these detentions.

The diplomat said Russia was against mass detentions of citizens for unclear reasons, especially if this concerned Russian citizens.
