Picket against disappearances prepared in Brest
It is to take place on the anniversary since Zmitser Zavadzki disappeared.
UCP activist from Brest Uladzimir Vuek has informed this:
Vuek: "We are going to file an application for the picket together with human rights defenders. It will be filed on behalf of different persons. We set the date - July 7, anniversary of Zmitser Zavadzki's disappearance. Moreover, kidnappings of people happen more and more often recently. Activist Ivan Stasiuk was kidnapped twice just in June".
According to Vuek, plain-clothed agents detain people and drive in an unknown direction. Police claim they did not detain such a person. Some time later a person is found, ususally in a police department.
