Parting with Yakau Navumenka in State Philharmonic Society (photo)
The famous Belarusian singer and People’s Artist of Belarus died in Sevastopol hospital on August 27.
Let us remind you that Navumenka received a mortal wound in a street fight with a stranger on August 19. The Ukrainian police are looking for the criminal.
The artist’s coffin has been placed on the stage in the big hall of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society. The hall is decorated for mourning and you can hear the music Yakau Navumenka used to sing, informs TUT.BY. Soldiers are on guard near the coffin.
The singer’s body is supposed to be cremated after the parting ceremony and civil funeral rites. Navumenka’s relatives and the authorities will chose his burial place later.
