National Bank introduces "modified" money since March 15

The official notification of the National Bank states that the modified bank notes, which will be introduced since March 15, will remain the same in terms of size, colour, and images. The only difference is that a metalized protective film will substitute the previous clear polymer thread with the letters "NBRB" on it. The metalized protective film partly comes onto a bank-note's surface in the form of glittery rectangles, which make a dotted line. The protective thread looks like a thorough dark line if you look at a bank-note against the light.

The bank-notes of the year-2000 pattern of the said nominal value will remain in use in Belarus.
