Nadzeya Astapchuk to get bronze medal for Athens Olympics?
The International Olympic Committee decided to deprive 4 athletes of the medals that they had won at the Athens Olympics.
It happened after the
repeated analysis of the doping test taken 8 years ago, informs the official page of the IOC. Belarusian athletes Ivan Tsikhan
and Iryna Yatchanka will lose their medals, among the others.
Russia's shot-putter Svetlana Krivyalyova will be deprived of the medal as
well. Besides, Belarusian Nadzeya Astapchuk won the fourth place in this
discipline at the Athens Olympics. Most likely, the Belarusian will rise by one
place and get the bronze.
Euroradio reminds, Astapchuk's golden medal at the London Olympics-2012 was
taking away from her because her doping tests were positive.
