Musicians collected 15 million for one night and gave money to children
A 10-hours charity concert took place in “Reactor”. The children from Navinki will now have an opportunity to rest in Summer camps due to this.
Liosha Tarasevich - a musician and a tutor in Navinki center - organized the charity concert "Help children together with us". The concert took place in the "Reactor" night club before the May holidays. Liosha Tarasevich works with children who have peculiarities of mental development and accompanies them to different Summer camps for the sponsors' money. However, all the sponsors failed because of the crisis this year, and there arose a necessity to think of something in order not to disappoint the children.
Liosha Tarasevich: “The idea belongs to volunteers of the "Mercy" club. They told me once: "You're a musician! Do something! Come on!"
And Liosha thought: "Indeed, I am a musician. Why not?”.
Liosha invited his friends-musicians to take part in the charity concert (the bands where he plays himself - "Addis Abeba", "Loop of Addiction", and also the bands of "Bo Promo” (“Silver Wedding”, “Cassiopeya”, “PortMone”, “Nagual”).
In the end, the event resembled a "You Can!" festival, but it was a charity variant, with the only difference - there were more people in the audience.
