Tatstsyana Hatsura will appeal against her detention.

The woman has informed Euroradio about it.

Let us remind you that pregnant Tatstsyana Hatsura was detained in the morning. She organized a performance in Minsk with her two sons a few days ago. She protested against the death penalty in the country. She has been returned guilty of having violated the law on mass actions and fined for 700 thousand roubles (20 base amounts).

Hatsura has admitted that she violated the Belarusian legislation. But she stresses that the Belarusian laws violate her right for the freedom of assembly. Moreover, Tatstsyana says that the law was also violated during her detention.

Hatsura: "I parked near my house. Two men in plain clothes parked their car behind me. They showed me their IDs at a distance and did not give me time to remember their names and positions. The only thing I found out was that they were from Minsk Central District Department of the Interior. I refused to go with them in connection with the violations and demanded a subpoena. However, they carefully carried me towards their car and put me in the back seat”.

According to Hatsura, she managed to inform her husband and human rights defender Alena Tankachova about the detention. Then they took away her phone and sent a false SMS to Tankachova informing her that Hatsura was being taken to court in Syamashka Street.

The lady unfolded the streamer drawn by her children, and headed for the President's Administration with an appeal, holding the streamer. Hatsura noted that she was a mother of many children. She has three children and is pregnant with the fourth at the moment. She wrote in her appeal that she didn't want people to be killed in her own country.

Hatsura told in a comment to the journalists that she did not believe in appealing to the President through some instances. She decided to do it directly through the President's Administration.

The police did not stop the activist's family and the journalists who accompanied her to the Administration.
