Mirny and Nestor make it to Australian Open semi-finals
The Belarusian-Canadian duet defeated Mexican Santiago Gonzalez and German Christopher Kas on January 25.
According to BelaPAN, Mirny and Nestor's next rivals will be India's Leander Paes and Radek Stepanek from the Czech Republic. Leaders of the world doubles tennis Bob and Mike Bryan from the USA will play against Swede Robert Lindstedt and Romanian Horia Tecau in the second semi-final.
Mirny's biggest achievement at the Australian Open so far has been the final in 2007, together with Swede Jonas Björkman.
