Minsk GUM: What is Tax Free?
The system was supposed to be introduced in Belarus on January 1 but has been postponed till the end of the year
The Ministry of Trade is choosing the operators that will compensate the customs for our Vityaz and Horizont TV-sets to foreigners.
We asked the GUM inquiry service when Tax Free would be introduced there.
“Wait, what is it?" our interlocutor seemed confused at first but quickly understood what we were talking about. "We do not have such a service. They discussed it but there is nothing like this at the moment, nothing has been done."
To use Tax Free for Belarusian goods, you will have to spend at least 800 thousand roubles on them.
