Mihail Zaharau deprived of driving license for 3 years for Bentley accident

Mihail Zaharau, the coach of “Yunatstva”, has been deprived of his driving license for 3 years. The hockey specialist has been punished for the car accident he met with when he was driving his Bentley Continental in a state of alcohol intoxication on the morning of June 12.

Moreover, the coach of “Yunatstva” will have to pay 1 million 225 thousand rubles (35 base amounts). This is the maximum fine Zaharau’s infringement can result in.

Let us remind you that Zaharau’s Bentley Continental collided with a Russian Lexus in Winners Avenue on June 12. According to the coach, the Russians did not demand any compensation from him. However, they did not manage “to settle it on the spot”: there was 1.03 pmm of alcohol in the Bentley driver’s blood.

Alyaksandr Lukashenka promised “to throw the book” at Zaharau during the press conference with the Belarusian mass media on June 17. However, according to “Yunatstva”, Zaharau will not be left without a car: the coach has a company car. “Komsomolskaya Pravda in Belarus” refers to its sources in “Yunatstva” and informs that a personal driver takes Mihail Mihailavich to the club. Euroradio has also noticed him in a black Cadillac driven by the coach’s friend Maryna.
