Manager of national track and field athletics Olympic team arrested by KGB?
It is said that Anatol Baduyeu was detained on Tuesday, May 29.
According to “Pressball”, the office of deputy head of the Belarusian Federation for Track and Field Athletics and manager of the National Olympic team has been searched.
KGB has neither refuted nor confirmed the information: “No comments”.
In the opinion of “Pressball” journalists, Baduyeu was probably arrested because of the edition’s article “Olympic Landslide of national sport” and its part “Killer”. The newspaper thinks that Baduyeu will be accused of two things – coercive bribery and sponsor money abuse.
Alyaksandr Trashchyla will be appointed acting manager of the national track and field athletics team, informs “Pressball”.
Let us note that the team will take part in London Olympics in two months.
