A man spends 23 years in prison under false accusation (video)
58-year-old David Rantu was imprisoned back in the XX century.
In 1990, he was found
guilty of killing a rabbi. Although he claimed innocent and there were no
direct proofs, the jury sentenced him to 37 years of imprisonment. Only in
2011, one of the witnesses confessed he had not seen Rantu, and the
investigator had prompted him to identify the accused.
According to CNN, the
court of New York decided to release David Rantu. His pregnant daughter was the
first to greet him. When her father got arrested she was only two years old.
