Lukashenka awards Azaranka with Homeland Order of 3rd degree
The Belarusian leader signed a corresponding decree on the day of Victoria Azaranka's victory at the Australian Open.
It is stated in the greeting that the whole Belarus was watching Victoria at court. "Vicky, you are the honour of your nation! Our Homeland is proud of your outstanding achievement which has already been written down in the history of the Belarusian and world sports", - Lukashenka wrote.
Let us remind you, on Saturday Victoria Azaranka defeated Maria Sharapova in the Australian Open final with the score 6:3, 6:0 and became the first racket in the world.
