List of most successful Belarusian businessmen is out
It has been created by the Internet portal “Daily” that used the results of 2011.
54-year-old Uladzimir Peftsiyeu, head of “Beltechexport”, is the leader of the top-200. 48-year-old Yury Chyzh, head of the group of companies “Triple”, is in the second position. Director-general of “Santa Impex Brest”, 41-year-old Alyaksandr Mashenski, is in the third place.
Vital Arbuzau, Alyaksandr Shakutsin, Vіctar Pyatrovіch, Yauhen Shyhalau, Aleh Husayenau, Syarhei Savіtskі and Arkadz Dobkіn are in the top-10.
The authors of the rating note that private business keeps developing in Belarus despite all the obstacles. It is active in Minsk and even in the provinces.
The authors have confessed that the rating can also represent the market cost of the participants’ businesses. However, “it has been decided not to publish the participants’ “cost” due to the specific character of running a business in Belarus and its level of publicity”. Success and influence were the traditional criteria used to distribute the positions.
