Journalists address to general public prosecution (photo report)
They demand to stop "creating obstacles to journalists' work during actions or outside them".
Collective appeal of the journalists demanding to investigate the facts of mass media representatives' arrests at the protest actions has been filed to the General public prosecutor's office on July 13. 30 people signed it. Identical appeal will be filed to the Ministry of Internal Affairs today, BelaPAN reports. Initiators do not have much hope for success but think it was necessary to do this.
Let us remind you, about 1.730 people have been detained in Belarus since June 8, when silent protest actions started. This includes 77 journalists. The biggest number of mass media representatives - 28 - were detained at the last action on July 6.
