House of Representatives responds to MEPs

The House of Representatives' statement says that this document is aimed at continuation of the practice of pressure on the Belarusian authorities and interference into the internal matters of our state.

Belarusian MPs got incensed by the fact that the European Parliament based on the information provided by the non-governmental organizations, BELTA informs. In addition to that, the House of Representatives reminded that the international legal norms allow death penalty for the severest crimes on the basis of the court sentences. Underage persons and pregnant women make an exception.
