General Prosecutor’s Office claims to cooperate with Poland and Lithuania

BelTA refers to him and informs that the General Prosecutor’s Office is in active correspondence with competent Polish institutions. Belarus has received a request from Poland and Poland has received Belarusian requests to extradite some people. 

 

Hlyshchenka also says that they are cooperating with Lithuania. Lithuania’s last request for legal assistance was received by the General Prosecutor’s Office on August 24.

 

Let us remind you the scandal connected with “Byalyatski’s” case complicated the relations between the Belarusian legal organs, Lithuania and Poland. In particular, Poland claimed that it would suspend its legal assistance to Belarus.
