Gas negotiations between Russia and Belarus to start in Autumn
According to the information provided by Russian “Commersant”,they will be held in accordance with Belarus' terms and conditions.
It is planned that Belarus will get the Russian gas cheaper since next year. Russia's PM Vladimir Putin promised this on Monday after the meeting with his Belarusian colleague Mikhail Myasnikovich.
It is likely that the Russian authorities use such statements as means of pressure on Ukraine, which is not ready to give Russia control ove its gas-trasporting system.
