"Free Theatre" nominated for "Drama Desk Award"
The award was established 55 years ago and is considered to be America's main theatrical award.
According to BelSAT, 6 performances have been nominated this year, among them - "Being Harold Pinter" of the Belarusian Free Theatre. The winner will be announced on May 23.
The Free Theatre has been on tour around the world for several months already. It is not safe for the actors and the directors to return to the Homeland after the Dec. 19 events yet. However, they are not going to ask for political refuge abroad by now.
