Filaret refuses to meet with Tatsiana Sieviarynets
Metropolitan of Minsk and Slutsk Filaret contacted Paval Sieviarynets' mother through his secretary.
Tatsiana Sieviarynets has been trying to achieve that a priest would visit her son in the KGB pre-trial detention center for more than a month. She was going to ask for this at a meeting with the Patriarchal Exarch of Belarus. However, Filaret advised her to address to another place with this request, through his secretary.
"Filaret's secretary Father Mikalaj informed that Filaret would't meet with me, but advised me to meet with Bishop Veniamin, who serves in the cloister", — Tatsiana has told to "Radio Racyja". She has already called the cloister's administration and asked for a meeting with Bishop Veniamin.
