Department for Serving Punishments hasn't seen decree on pardon yet
Head of the department Alyaksandr Barsukou has said this.
According to his words reported by news agencies, the decree should be passed to the Interior Ministry today, and after that it will arrive to the Department. Barsukou promises to fullfill it in the shortest terms. According to him, we should expect the prisoners' release tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.
The head of the Department has claimed that the surnames of the pardoned are unknown to him. Let us remind you, 9 prisoners have been pardoned by the state leader's decree. Human rights defenders have informed that among them there are Zmitser Drozd, Artsyom Hrybkou, Syarhei Kazakou, Andrei Pratasenya, and probably Alyaksandr Klaskouski and Uladzimir Loban. The surnames of the pardoned have not been informed officially.
