Day of Remembrance for victims of all totalitarian regimes marked today
The European Parliament dated it for the signing of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact.
The Soviet and German Ministers of Foreign Affairs signed the agreement on cooperation that unleashed the WWII on that day. Europe marks August 23 as a Europe-wide Day of Remembrance for the victims of all totalitarian and authoritarian regimes.
