Belarusian long-distance truck drivers get out of Karakum desert

This has been informed by BelaPAN with a reference to the Belarusian Embassy to Uzbekistan. Let us remind you, the problem occurred in the end of last week due to complicated weather conditions in the area of the automobile border crossing point "Tajen" (Kazakhstan)-"Daut-Ata" (Uzbekistan).

About 200 trucks from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and Uzbekistan got stuck at the border because of snowstorms and low temperature.

They say in the Embassy that the border is open, all the trucks managed to cross it. Rescuers from Uzbekistan delivered warm food and blankets to the place of the jam. No Belarusian citizens suffered.
