Belarusian human rights defenders offer help

Human rights activist Taststyana Ravyaka has inforemd BelaPAN about it.

According to her, the security agencies are actively subjecting participants of Dec.19, 2010 action to responsibility now. “New accused have appeared. It is essential for us that people should not be deprived of legal assistance. We are ready to render any legal assistance so that their cases would not be left unnoticed by Belarusian and international human rights organizations. We are urging them to come to us instead of remaining silent”, - noted Ravyaka.

She claimed that Belarusian human rights activists were ready to do everything possible to release people named in the mass disorders criminal case.

"People should not think that their criminal cases will disappear. This is not going to happen. In any case, the trials should not remain unnoticed”, - thinks Ravyaka.
