Belarus' consumer prices growth highest among ex-Soviet republics

Our country has become the first among the former USSR countries, as in the previous year. This is reflected in the analysis of the data of the national statistics agencies, conducted by BelaPAN.

Last year the growth of consumer prices in Belarus made 21,8% (in 2011 - 108,7%). Then comes Kyrgyzstan with 7,5% (5,7%), Russia with 6,6% (6,1%), Tadjikistan with 6,4% (9,3%). In Lithuania it was only 2,8% (3,4%), in Latvia - 1,6% (4%).

In Ukraine, the prices went down by 0,2% (4,6%), in Georgia - by 1,4% (+2%).

In December 2012, Belarus was the third with regard to the consumer prices growth making 1,4%, after Armenia (2,1%) and Kyrgyzstan (1,5%).
