Banks refuse to sell currency for social needs
Paritetbank has become the first bank to do that.
It stopped accepting applications for selling foreign currency to physical persons for socially important aims, infobank.by informs.
Let us remind you, the National Bank allowed five banks only to buy currency in the currency exchange offices till December 1, 2011. These are Belarusbank, Belinvestbank, Belagroprombank, Paritetbank and Alfa-Bank. Received currency was supposed to go for social needs and to be sold to people under the National Bank's rate.
