Azaranka makes it to Wimbledon's semi-final
This is the first time she did it in her careeer.
At present moment, Victoria Azaranka is ranked 5th in the world rating of women-tennis players. Participation in the semi-final of the open championship of England - the third of the Grand Slam tournaments - will make the Belarusian's positions stronger.
On June 28, Azaranka defeated Austrian Tamira Paschek in the fifth round -- 6:3,6:1 and will play against Czech Petra Kvitova to get to the final. Petra Kvitova defeated Tsvetana Pironkova from Bulgaria in the semi-final and won over Azaranka in 1/16 at Wimbledon last year.
