Aleh Haidukevich: I am not embarrassed to be opposition politician

to be an opposition member and whether he will run for President.

Euroradio: They say: "There can be no ex-policemen". And: "The police is beyond politics". How have you combined a policemen and a politician?

Aleh Haidukevich: I worked in the police for 18 years. I do not regret a single day. And I have been involved in politics since my childhood. Believe me, I am ready for politics more than many so-called politicians are.

Euroradio: Do you agree with all the programme documents of the LDPB?

Aleh Haidukevich: The Liberal Democratic Party is a team. I come to the team and it means that I agree with all the programmes that exist in the LDPB. It is a team and you should work as a team.

Euroradio: The leader of the LDPB, Syarhei Haidukevich, always says that this party is the real opposition. How do you feel being an opposition member?

Aleh Haidukevich: I am not embarrassed at all. I have joined the Liberal Democratic Party that represents the constructive opposition.

Euroradio: What will your functions in the party be?

Aleh Haidukevich: I will be the deputy head of the party.

Euroradio: Would you like to try running for President like Syarhei Haidukevich did?

Aleh Haidukevich: I am not inclined to do it now.

Euroradio: You had stable and guaranteed wages in the police. Being a politician in our country cannot guarantee anything...

Aleh Haidukevich: I have always done what my heart told me to do in order to help our country and our state.
